Fawazeer Wikeez on OTV !
During the special morning TV show, “Yawm jdid” which means “new day” on OTV last Tuesday, Wikeez Editor in chief, Samar Maalouf was being interviewed concerning the shooting of Fawazeer Ramadan.
Fawazeer Wikeez is a new concept on the Arabic internet. Our team has shot 31 short videos that will be broadcast online on Wikeez each day during the holy month of Ramadan 2009.
Each video tells the story of Kais and Leila, two characters from ancient Arabic History, in a modern set with a modern way of living around TV shows, music, celebrities and entertainment in general. Each fazoura or riddle is announced during the video and the following day in the next episode you can watch the correct answer.
As for “Yawm Jdid”, it is a morning show that addresses family in general and housewives in particular. The show also tackles the latest news related to arts and science through short reports. “Yawm Jdid” holds with it the hope for a new and shining tomorrow.
