Wikeez crew at the Arab Crunch Demo Day In Jordan
Monday the 23rd 2009, Wikeez Crew went all the way to Jordan to assist at the first Demo Day organized by Arab crunch to spot light all new startups in the Middle East.
This event targets all new entrepreneurs in the MENA region looking to share with others their outstanding innovative ideas in technology. People came from Egypt, Lebanon, UAE and some great guest speakers flew all the way from Los Angeles to assist and contribute to this event.
This conference was a success not only because the ideas and the projects presented were outstanding; but also because it helped Arabs bond with each others and discuss new ways of conducting their businesses. The Demo day lead the way to an new era of Open and Transparent Business, where partnerships should be done in order to face the international competition. When we see that the USA have an online advertising share of 27%-30% and Europe 13%-15%, we realized that we are so far behind with less than 1%. This new ERA of open business mentatlity will help facing the international competition and get us as well a piece of that deserved Pie!
